Kids In Disability Sports, Inc. (K.I.D.S.) provide social, recreational and therapeutic opportunities for individuals with disabilities ages 6 and up, in the Merrimack Valley and beyond.
I get so much enjoyment just being around the kids and watching them develop into amazing young men and women. I’m so happy to be a part of this amazing organization.
I feel so blessed and fortunate to be a part of this organization. What started out as a giving back event many years ago, has blossomed into wonderful lifelong friendships. The kids and their families are pure love and I’m so
grateful to call them friends.
I’ve seen first hand how impactful the K.I.D.S. organization can be for its
members. My brother-in-law has participated in many of the K.I.D.S. activities and events over the years—from the dances to bowling and baseball games—he feels a part of a team and a community. It was an easy choice to choose K.I.D.S. as our charity for The Chelmsford Fire Department Hockey Team. I can’t wait to see what the future brings for the K.I.D.S. organization.
The Kids In Disability Sports (K.I.D.S.) organization is a valuable resource for the community. They work with an underserved part of the community and offer programs that are well rounded and fun for the participants, and they do so in a way that makes you feel like part of the family. The Lowell Recreation Department is lucky to have such a dedicated community organization as a partner.
